Khaos slowly walked along the dirt track, with his grey feathers touching the above tress. The track passed through the death forest, where he saw many dead Gryphon's, but this did not scare him at all, for he was used to it, and he considers himself a very strong fighter. He also witnessed a large fat snake, which looked like it had eaten another very unlucky Gryphon. He laughed at the snake, which hissed. The snake suddenly attacked him, in the chest, and luckily, there was no venom, so Khaos crushed it instantly, amazingly with power. The snake closed it's eyes and died slowly. One final hiss. One final breath. Then it was all over. That's for attacking me! Nobody beats me. He fearlessly said. He was lying, of course, but even if you analyzed his voice, you wouldn't detect it. Any more? he continued on, asking the dead forest.
The forest had it's own answer, it could trick him at any time, so he had to be careful. Tricks could come in the shape of a parrot's squawk, a snake's hiss, a frog's rib-bit or even a trickling waterfall; anything could trick him here.
He kept slowly walking on, passing many landmarks, such as the 110ft oak, which was still alive, and is rumored to kill. Finally he reached a small dirt clearing with a selection of dead and almost alive trees. He smiled lightly. He had arrived. The area had a small river, but he dared go here. This river was toxic. Filled with Venom, blood and other nasty waste, many Gryphon's had been tricked by this almost clear looking stream. There was a small load of logs near the area's edge, covered over by some brown-green grass. Obviously someone had decided to set up camp here, a long time ago. Another unfortunate Gryphon.
The area also had a large covering of leaves above the small clearing, these are nettles, and unless the Gryphon is strong enough, it's like a giant bird cage. There are passages out, but they are long. Many Gryphon's think they are leaves and fall for the trick.
He settled down, and began to build a nest in a nearby tree. He used strong logs and a strong ash, about 60ft high. He then made a call for a mate, sat and waited.
He talked to himself for a moment, I'm a great fighter, I could make an evil and strong family. I could begin a better east he said, aloud. What he meant by a better east, is he wanted a more evil east. Not a nice, calm place, but a evil and horrid place. He and his family would be rich. Very rich.
